MSMEs Mentored For Exports
I congratulate this ambitious outreach that offers customized assistance based on MSME sectoral needs - be it financing support for a handicrafts exporter attending an international trade fair or skilling workshops that help food processing companies meet stringent overseas packaging regulations.
No country can become an export powerhouse without focusing on manufacturing competitiveness, and MSMEs will play an extremely crucial role in achieving this ambitious goal of 2 trillion exports. The IndiaXports 2.0 initiative recognizes this by making MSME export promotion a key priority through various skills enhancement, financial aid and infrastructure upgradation programs that empower small businesses to succeed globally.
The launch of IndiaXports 2.0 aligns brilliantly with our Ministry's mandate to energize the spirit of enterprise among micro and small businesses. This renewed focus on integrating MSMEs into global business avenues delivers on empowering local artisans to become internationally competitive.
We applaud the remarkable impetus for self-reliance and overseas expansion encompassed under the IndiaXports 2.0 umbrella & believe the workshops conducted on subjects like packaging innovations, digital payments and warehouse optimizations have enriched the export-readiness of Indian businesses to compete internationally.
The mandate to digitize export processes for streamlined cross-border commerce is an area I deeply appreciate from policy conversations around IndiaXports 2.0. Allowing even nano-entrepreneurs from India's remote corners to access global consumers by selling online is a laudable national objective.
I am delighted to find that there are initiatives like the India Xports which are discussing issues which are of great importance to us, to the ministry and producers of primary products in particular. India Xports initiative aims to assist SMEs in exporting their products which is very much in line with Prime Minister's vision of making India a $5 trillion economy.
On behalf of the Ministry of MSME, I would like to thank India SME Forum for coming up with the India Xports initiative. Not only does this initiative act as a bridge for the government to get into direct contact with the exporters but also acts as a medium for exporters to highlight the difficulties and provide suggestions about the on-ground export operations.
I am extremely impressed by the India Xports team's professionalism, expertise, and work quality. I would highly recommend them to any organization that needs help ramping up their export operations and expand their understanding of foreign markets.
When it comes to leather, India has a massive market dominated by small businesses with high export potential. The India Xports initiative will be a game changer for companies looking to expand, export their leather products, and realize their full potential.
Since covid pandemic, India has emerged as a leader in global pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. A number of MSMEs from the healthcare sector needed assistance to export their supplies. The India Xports initiative proved to enlighten such businesses and helped them in understanding the export mandates.
