The sectoral webinars are a part of India Xports portal which was inaugurated on 29th September, 2021 by Union Minister of MSMEs Shri Narayan Rane in presence of MoS Bhanu Pratap Singh Verma, Smt, Mercy Epao, JS - MSME and Smt. Alka Arora, JS - ARI & CMD NSIC along with senior executives from other provinces and other dignitaries, which aims to drive export growth with the help of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to achieve the target of $400 billion by this fiscal, and the challenging target of $1 trillion in exports by 2027.

The Indian Economy recently experienced exponential growth in many sectors and emerged as the fastest growing economy in the world. Govt. continues to promote exports in various sectors including Manufacturing, Agro, food processing, Textiles, Handicrafts, Services, etc. Many companies in the MSME sector started to focus exclusively on exports and are keen to export globally. Govt. recently announced many incentives for exporters. Many countries are offering many benefits for exporters from India. The data shows that there are only approx 32,000 odd MSME exporters as of now from among the 1.25 crore exporters (mainly traders & merchant exporters), this number can be easily doubled by the information / knowledge that this portal would provide and orientation that would be provided under this initiative - INDIAXPORTS 2021, being organised by India SME Forum, in association with the Ministry of MSME.

We are pleased to inform you that the portal www.indiaxports.com is launched to orient over 100,000 potential exporter MSMEs of India in order to double the number of current active exporters to 70000+ from the current 32000, by the end of Year 2022, including around 5000 Women Entrepreneurs
